National Climate Change Policy for Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique (2017-2021)
The policy aims to achieve an empowered Grenadian population capable of managing the risks from climate change with emphasis on pursuing a low carbon development pathway and building resilience at the individual, community and national levels.
Physical Planning and Development Control Act (No. 25 of 2002)
The Act provides for the control of physical development, requires the preparation of physical plans for Grenada and protects the natural and cultural heritage.
Emergency Powers Act (No. 17 of 1987)
The law provides for matters relating to security during a period of emergency in Grenada.
National Disaster (Emergency Powers) Act (No. 15 of 1984)
The act makes provision for the maintenance of supplies and services essential to the life of the community on the occurrence of a national disaster, and for connected matters in Grenada. It foresees active transparency provisions to inform the public.
