Climate Resilience Act (No. 16 of 2018)
This Act provides for the establishment of the Climate Resilience Execution Agency of Dominica (CREAD) in order to rebuild Dominica as the first climate resilient nation.

This Act makes provisions for the orderly and progressive development of land in urban and rural areas and to preserve and improve the amenities thereof and for the grant of permission to develop land and for other powers of control over the use of land in Dominica.
This Acts provides for the conservation and maintenance of the environment in the interest of health generally and in relation to places frequented by the public in Dominica.
This law makes provision for the welfare and safety of the community in cases of disaster and for matters connected therewith in the Commonwealth of Dominica.
The Constitution of Dominica ensures access to information and participation within the framework of the freedoms of expression, peaceful assembly and association. It also provides constitutional guarantees in case the aforementioned rights are infringed.
