The Cartagena Protocol, in force since September 2003, was adopted as a complementary agreement to the Convention on Biological Diversity.

The Act makes provisions for the development of land, the assessment of the environmental impacts of development, the grant of permission to develop land and for other powers to regulate the use of land, and for related matters in Saint Lucia.

The Freedom of Information Act aims to extend the right of members of the public to access information in the possession of public authorities in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

This act regulates the development  of land for planning and connected purposes and  the construction of buildings in Antigua and Barbuda.  It incorporates information and public participation provisions.
