The act intends to promote the conservation and maintenance of the environment in the interest of health, for proper sanitation in matters of food and drinks and generally, for the provision and control of services, activities and other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. 

This Act provides for the better management and development of the natural and historic resources of Saint Kitts and Nevis for purposes of conservation. 

The Constitution of Haiti requires the State to publish information, in particular laws, orders and decrees in Creole and French. Public participation is ensured within the framework of the rights of association and peaceful assembly.

La Constitución Política de la República de Nicaragua señala que los nicaragüenses tienen derecho de habitar en un ambiente saludable y que es obligación del Estado la preservación, conservación y rescate del medio ambiente y de los recursos naturales.

La ley tiene por objeto velar por el mantenimiento del equilibrio ecológico y la calidad del medio ambiente para mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes en Guatemala.

La Constitución de Guatemala establece la publicidad de los actos administrativos y el derecho de acceso a estos documentos de los interesados. El derecho a participar se reconoce en el marco de las libertades de reunión y asociación.

La Constitución de El Salvador garantiza el acceso a la información y a la participación en el marco de las libertades de expresión, reunión y asociación. Establece, además, mecanismos de reparación y acceso a la justicia en caso de vulneración de derechos constitucionales.

The Constitution of Saint Kitts and Nevis ensures access to information and participation within the framework of the freedoms of expression, peaceful assembly and association. It also provides constitutional guarantees in case the aforementioned rights are infringed.
