Principle 10 of the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development guarantees that all persons, particularly those in vulnerable situations, have access to timely and reliable information, can participate significantly in the decisions that affect their lives and have access to justice in environmental matters, hereby contributing to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
